Memorial Day Weekend Update
Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of summer vacations and the end of school. More importantly, it is a Memorial Celebration - the day that we remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom.
This Sunday we are thrilled to have our first 5th Sunday worship and family meal in over a year.
We are also thrilled this weekend to have the opportunity to present a check for over $6,000 from the Lyla Ride to the Ronald McDonald House.
Our special guests speakers, Shaylene and Angie, will share about how our Pro-Life God values every life. They will also provide baby bottles for the annual “Baby Bottle Boomerang” fundraiser benefiting St. Clair County Sav-a-Life.
As you prepare for Sunday, remember that our God is the Giver and the Sustainer of Life.
6 For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. 8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! 9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath. 10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
